17:43 Ultramariini in a blue mood

Ultramariini, who hails from Hämeenlinna, has for long been called a promising newcomer by the presses. At the third stage's afternoon show, the band proved that they were at least a bit worth that promise.

Ultramariini has been both praised and badmouthed to be emo-rock and adult pop, but live they sounded a whole lot edgier and therefore also better. The disturbing certain facelessness and the blurriness of the song material on the album was was gone on the gig, but on the other hand the gripping hooks were also missing. The rain outside fit the atmosphere like you fit a finger in your nostril. Emo-rock and Matti Johannes Koivu's singing were witnessed by almost a full tentful of people. And girls; girls with golden hair.
