18:21 Mokoma came and conquered

Mokoma was day's crowd magnet bringing YleX stage to it's limits. Most of the audience had lost their voices before the band had even started and like last year the chemistry between the two was explosive.

Mokoma's members had warmed themselves up well in the football match played earlier in the afternoon and therefore there was no sign of warming up in the day's gig. From the very beginning everything was magical between the band and their audience. Mokoma might not be radio stations dream child but on stage the band is in it's place. On the day's gig the lead vocalist could've rested his voice for the most of the time as the crowd sang along through every song which all seemed to be wellknown by all. The band had been on tour for the previous weeks and it might've taken out some of their energy but the fantastic atmosphere left all doubts behind. Mokoma proved to be an excellent live band and will be a wanted guest for festivals to come.
