17:31 Something needs sorting out? Ask Heikki!

Poppikoppi (Pop Booth) next to the Main gate promises to take care of everything that nobody else seems to have an answer for. Supervisor Heikki Piirainen thinks especially on Sunday it seems everbody’s lost something/everything/someone. Sunday morning keeps Heikki busy: he’s sorting out wristbands that are too tight and everything else possible conncted with the bands or tickets.

”Every year somebody forgets their ticket at home. What we usually do is take their details and ask them to send us the ticket afterwards”, Heikki says.

And there’s no point in trying to fool Heikki: he’s been doing this for years and years and can spot somebody who is lying miles away.

”Usually they’ve got a really elaborate story why they haven’t got their ticket on them and I can spot if they’re telling a fib.”

Sometimes Heikki has to have the skills of a diblomate. For instance somebody might have ended under a watercannon unwittingly (they are not announced beforehand) and that might have ruined their mobile or something else valuable.

Sometimes something goes missing from the clock room.

But Heikki usually negotiates a compromise, things get compensated and everybody is happy.
