15:12 A Tale of Two Colors

A geography lesson: Becasuse it is so far North, Finland does not get too much sunshine throughout the year and so most Finns are a pasty white. But when the summer rolls around those pasty white skinned Finns turn a horribly painful shade of red. I am witnessing the transformation as I write. There are so many pasty people here, exposing so much of their pasty skin, that will be so red tomorrow that I cannot but feel the ultimate pity for them all. However, there is a certain, sadistic satisfaction in it all. Now I'm a Texas boy, and my skin is used to the sun and so I tan pretty quickly. But these Finns, well let's just say they ain't from Texs and their skin knows it. If I were an enterprising kind of guy I would buy up all the aloe vera lotion in J-town and sell it a hugely jacked up prices. I could retire after this festival.
