VON HERTZEN BROTHERS

Progressive rock has never been the genre that takes record sale charts by storm, either in Finland or elsewhere. All the more interesting, then, is the fact that last year, Von Hertzen Brothers' unbelievably nuanced and versatile second album Approach stayed in the Top 40 for what seemed like forever. Earlier this year, the three brothers were awarded a gold disc for their accomplishment.

Mikko, Kie and Jonne von Hertzen have become familiar for their numerous appearances with various successful Finnish bands, but, judging by their two LPs and miraculous gigs, it seems that these brothers only find their full potential when they gather together. Von Hertzen Brothers is a great choice for the End of the Festival club. Listening to this music, all the wonderful moments of the festival weekend add up and turn the tiredness into a pleasant relaxation, and all you want to do is to let the music carry you somewhere far, far away.
