Nerve End ready to go big

Hair flying, double bass, mosh pit and fists in the air. Nerve End is a young local band with an air of greatness to them. My expectations were very low, so I was very pleasantly surprised. The singer had a great voice, and the music actually sounded like something. The guys also had an insane amount of attitude, especially the bass player.

The song intros told the story of the yellow gym pants. They were a gift from a stalker that called himself Maurice the Polar Bear. Song by song the music drew people in and the further the show got, the more there was movement in the crowd. The audience was especially “motivated” by the band’s cover of Devin Townsend. Returning to the stage for their encore, the guys were all wearing gym pants, excellent!

“By the way, you’re our biggest audience ever.” It was hard to believe that the band hasn’t been playing to larger audiences yet. It can’t take much longer!
