The Three Smiths Show

What a blast! Gracias, Noah Kin and Ekow, in other words The Three Smiths Show, really set the stage ablaze. We had the pleasure of hearing close to 20 tracks during the time reserved for the three of the most promising names of the Finnish English-language hip hop scene. If we have to count on these three guys, the future of the Finnish hip hop has nothing to worry about.

DJ Nada was responsible for the beats, but also more than one a cappella versions were heard. The junior of the group, 18-year-old Noah Kin was responsible for the particularly memorable, almost-faster-than-the-speed-of-light performance.

When starting the gig, Gracias was joking that they should probably only use English on stage to give an even cooler impression. My opinion is that it would be hard to get there – this group has reached all the levels of coolness one can imagine.

Combining the material of the three talented future promises meant a diverse setlist. Of course, any self-respecting hip hop artist needs to include topics like money and bureaucracy, but these guys were also singing about Lamborghinis, childhood friends and Facebook friend requests.
