What is Hot Chip, you say? Humbly, it is the largest and the most beautiful indie-electro dance group of the 21st century! Hot Chip provides divinely beautiful pop hooks, fragile geek psychedelics, and disco beats that irresistibly force you to the dance floor. But above anything, Hot Chip is a Band with a capital B, molded by their diligent touring into a well-oiled dance machine. The band conquered both intimate club venues as well as mega festivals such as Glastonbury and Coachella with ease.

Alexis Taylor and Joe Goddard of Hot Chip have told they write excessive amounts of music, and then shuffling even the most unseemly blocks all together into a one song. As a result, something astounding and unique comes out of the studio, something that is completely Hot Chip. A perfect example of their music could be the track Night and Day from their album In Our Heads. Despite sounding like the song is constantly at the verge of a breakdown, it manages to stay magic glued together, and proudly crosses the finish line, and carries on galloping into your head.

For some bizarre reason Hot Chip has never played in Finland. This shameful mistake will be fixed on July 13th, when the Londoners come and scorch the grounds of Laulurinne to create an enormous dance party never seen before.
