Von Hertzen Brothers, who are known for their updated prog rock of the new millennium, are releasing a new studio album in March. The band has been recording the album in Canada with the acclaimed and Grammy nominated producer, Garth ”GGGarth” Richardson (Biffy Clyro, Rise Against), so there are high hopes for the new material. It's now or never that the Brothers have a chance to conquer the world with their meandering and striking epicness!
The first thing one would associate with Von Hertzen Brothers is their incredible craft. The band plays their complicated arrangements effortlessly, and the glorious harmonies do not pale in comparison. Although the songs are filled with hooks and angles, the music doesn't lose its catchiness. Flowers and Rust, Let Thy Will Be Done and Kiss a Wish are all hits worthy of being the closing numbers of any ambitious rock group. The awesome new single, New Day Rising, fits in nicely with the other Von Hertzen Brothers hits while giving us a promising taste of the upcoming album.
An ecstatic atmosphere is always guaranteed whenever the Brothers stop by at Laulurinne. We recommend grabbing a front row spot and letting the guitars spirit you away!
