Vesala (FIN)
Last summer Paula Vesala stepped on Rento Stage for the first time as a solo artist under the name Vesala. The crowd seemed to cover half of the whole festival area as thousands wanted to see and hear the show of one of the most talented singer-songwriters in Finland. Her self-titled debut album, published last summer, introduced an artist to whom nothing seems to be impossible.
Vesala's songs are instant classics, hummed and sung along everywhere. She combines ethereal electronic soundscapes to addictive and catchy pop melodies. With her lyrics Vesala manages to find that special spot in your soul you thought no one would see. This summer we can surely gather even a bigger audience for Vesala. Let's welcome her on the stage again!
