17:10 Heroes of the thirsty people

The hot weather is making the festival audience extra thirsty. Mikko Poutanen from the bar in front of the Main stage says all kinds of drinks all selling well. It’s been really busy and even more so when a bigger name is performing. The new bar down the beach hasn’t really made the life of the other bar staff easier, although it’s been busy down there as well.

The supervisor of the beach bar Harri Laukkanen says it's been popular plus they’ve got a larger selection of drinks. Working in the beach bar is bit more relaxed as the area does not attract as many people as the Main Stage.

One of the problems on Saturday was fawlty cooling system but that was fixed by Sunday. They even had a separate cool box for ciders.

Jouni Pajarinen who supervisers the Ylex (Second Stage) bar area says things have been going well.
The Sulo-club which was held on the Second Stage on Saturday took the bar workers by surprise: there was a lot more audience than they expected. After that it’s been busy all the way through the weekend.

The Fourth Stage Rekkalava (Truck Stage) which is next to the Seocnd Stage makes sure that it never gets quiet in the area even if nobody is performing on the Second Stage.
