17:51 Kuusumun Profeetta is a natural phenomenon

Kuusumu's moon dust arrived bringing rain and naturally unnatural music with it.

This quintet from Pori, who emerged onto the third stage through a dense fog, looked like they actually came straight from some 70s or 80s tv-series specializing in funny wardrobes. Everything else came to pass in a similar, mildly skewed a way as well, just as one should expect from a band who dabbles with psychedelia, progressive rock and in general weirdness.

Mika Rättö's wild yodeling caused some members in the audience to exchange smirks with their neighbors, but the fans of Kuusumu knew what to expect from the singer. The music mainly moved in the area of relaxed jamming--all the rampaging heavy-metal themes had been left to be performed at some other shows.

During the gig the sky turned cloudy, darkened, and finally burst with rain. Not a bad backdrop for such a delicate performance, which in its own earnest way was already like an inimitable part of the nature itself.
