16:10 The ethereal Indica

Indica opened Ilosaarirock's Saturday handsomely with their ethereal rock. The spirited interpretations of songs such as Sudenkorento and Scarlet left the audience yearning for more.

Promising new songs were followed by their massive hit "Ikuinen Virta" in the middle of the set. The girls offered tasty treats for the listeners also in the second half of the gig. The songs "Surusilmä" and "Airot vettä vasten" received huge applauds, and as an encore song, the band covered Kate Bush's Wuthering Heights.

The vocalist Jonsu is not only a brilliant performer but also a competent violin player. Indica was a good start for Ilosaarirock.
