16:25 Heatwave at Linnunlahti

Earlier in the week the Finnish tabloids reported of the lack of bikinis in the racks of clothing stores. Where on Earth did they all disappear to? The answer lies in Linnunlahti--the festival area's beach.

You won't find people wearing much around the Rentolava ("chill out stage"), on the contrary: the most inventive-minded guests have already started to look at some home-spun options to relieve the heat and the burning sun. Some girls were contemplating about buying scarves from the nearby shack-shop to build their own itsy-bitsy bikinis; two men had found a solution to the heat in their mothers' flower dress wardrobe. However their wigs might've balanced out the cooling effect of the dresses... The best method to cool you down is however the classic dip into the lake Pyhäselkä--there's no better way to spend your time than swim around along to relaxed reggae music.
