Komposti Sound
Komposti Sound, also referred to as the Finland's finest, are the pioneers of the Finnish reggae scene – they have been playing their records since 2001. In Helsinki, Komposti – that is, Bommitommi, Enrico and VG+ – run Reggae Sundays Club that has been visited by the world's best reggae artists. In addition, these guys have their own radio show, Komposti Radio. Komposti Sound are the true heroes of reggae in Finland.
Tunnelmissa Reggae Disco, much applauded by our audience over the last few years, gets it going again on the Ilosaarirock Festival beach area. This stage brings you the finest selectors in Finland and the choicest songs that cover the multitude aspects of reggae. The mood varies from gently swinging rock steady rhythms to intense dancehall beats, and the assortment of songs embraces the time-honoured cornerstones of the genre and the latest hit songs alike.
