It’s nearly 12 o’clock. The main gates are a hive of activity, both inside and outside the festival area. Outside, the anxious festival crowd is waiting to be let in, while on the inside, security is getting their last-minute instructions: “Three per queue.” We’re ready, here it goes!
Not until all of the temporary fences are removed does the call go out. “Please come in, welcome, have a nice festival!” First through the gates is a 16 year-old first-timer, Veera, from Helsinki. Veera says that she waited for about an hour beside the gates; she’s in a rush to see Rubik. Other must-sees are Sielun Veljet and Happoradio.
