D-A-D from Denmark is a rock band, period. That's the long and the short of it. But what a rock band they are! They've been playing their deceptively simple, positive and delightfully melodic rock music since 1982, and they are better at their job than perhaps anyone else. D-A-D's songs are full of time-honoured hard rock spirit, and their experience, spanning for decades, makes them look a vigorous, unstoppable show machine. If you need further proof, listen to the hit song I Want What She's Got from their curiously named last year's album DIC.NII.LAN.DAFT.ERD.ARK. From that irresistible groove and unforced passion, you can tell that these daddies were not born yesterday.
