Adept (SWE)

Swedish metal core band Adept claims to exist simply because its musicians love to tour and play. Like the Scouts, the band is always ready to step on stage, no matter the situation. The members of Adept have grown listening to the albums of Swedish legends such as In Flames, and they indeed have a burning passion for the feisty riffs of modern metal.

Adept combines furious metal, uplifting and catchy melodies, and post-rock atmospheres. Band's third album Silence the World is even more aggressive and progressive cup of metal than their previous albums, leading these Swedes more and more to the direction of Bring Me the Horizon and As I Lay Dying. On the other hand, there are beautiful melodies, and emotional and unique vocals.

The band has actively toured European clubs and expanded their fan base. Summer 2013 will be a watershed for Adept. Will the band rise to the company of its idols as a giant of modern metal? At least the band is ready for that, as the July gig in Laulurinne will prove.
