Imagine Dragons (USA)
Imagine Dragons, an alternative rock band from Las Vegas, robbed the bank with their 2012 debut album Night Visions. They claimed the second position on the Billboard chart and reached the top ten charts all over the world. The album includes two ginormous hits, It's Time, and Radioactive, which has gained massive airtime in Finland as well. These songs sum up the style of Imagine Dragons. Conjuring up elements from The Killers and Arcade Fire, they are perfect stadium rock anthems: catchy, overwhelming, and extremely brash.
Imagine Dragons is currently one of the most talked about pop acts in the world. It is a great pleasure and privilege that the band's very first gig in Finland is in Ilosaarirock Festival. This is going to be one for the books!
