Nightwish

Nightwish, originally formed in the nearby town of Kitee, began their Imaginaerum World Tour in Joensuu in March 2012. In June 2013, after over a hundred shows, at least four continents, a feature film, and a change of the lead singer, the band finally comes back home to put the finishing touches to their most ambitious period so far. And they return better than ever!

Feel free to have great expectations for Nightwish's concert at Ilosaarirock Festival. The band and their tour personnel have been turned into a well-oiled machine by the long tour, and the darkening evening of Laulurinne offers a spectacular setting for the amazing visual and aural show. Floor Jansen has carried the heavy mantle of Nightwish's singer with aplomb, and proven herself the right choice to front the band. Her influence has made the band even more aggressive, grander and more compelling live performer.

The show at Ilosaarirock Festival is one the last ones of the Imaginaerum World Tour. It will be an emotional night where you are cordially welcome!
