The do’s and don’ts of festival style

DO:

1) Shave a lizard to the back of your head. Bonus points if you’re a woman.

2) Wear a dress. Bonus points if you’re a man.

3) Wear bunny ears.

4) Wear a foot-high stetson and a santa beard.

5) Offer balloons to people around you. Clothing optional.

6) Instead of wearing a shirt, paint yourself. Bonus points if you also write rude things on yourself.

7) Wear shaped sunglasses. Popular shapes this season are hearts (always a good choice) and the Batman logo.

8) One word: mohawk. For optimal length/height, see number four.

9) Wear a tutu. For bonus points, see number two.

10) Wear fairy wings, even if you’re not one. A fae, that is.

DON’T:

1) Food is applied internally.

2) Don’t wear a suit. Suits ruined music, man. ☮

3)  Swimsuit or underwear? It doesn’t really matter.

4) Deodorant is highly overrated. Face paint is highly underrated.

5) Don’t forget to bring a coat. Booze doesn’t actually keep you warm.

6) Don’t forget to smile. :)

7) Don’t raid a rose bush for that special someone. Dandelions do the trick just as well and don’t include angry gardeners.

8) Don’t consider something as trash when it’s clearly an accessory.

9) Don’t sweat the petty things, but remember that even in the Finnish summer, the things you want to pet are often sweaty. Don’t sweat that either.

10) Don’t drink and drive, you can only concentrate on one thing at a time.
