First artists for summer 2016 have now been announced. Ilosaarirock Festival
will host Danish rock giants Volbeat and the British indie rock comet The
1975. Volbeat, one of the biggest rock groups in Europe, mixes classic rock
elements with metal. The band is one of the most requested acts to perform
at Ilosaarirock. The 1975's first album debuted at number 1 in the UK Album
Charts. The long awaited second album will be released in February.

Artist schedule and offstage programme out today
Ilosaarirock Festival 2015's artist schedule is now out and can be found
here. We are also happy to present our diverse and eccentric
offstage programme, consisting of documentary film Indo Dream, heaps of visiting DJs
in Rentodisco, a skateboarding competition, a roller derby match, table
tennis, SUP boarding and much, much more!
This is so going to be the #summersbestweekend!

Töminä Club opens Ilosaarirock Festival on Friday

Volunteering in Ilosaarirock Festival
Volunteering is a fun and fascinating way of participating in Ilosaarirock Festival. Applying for volunteer work is easy: just read info and fill our application form. The permanent crew of Ilosaarirock Festival aim at finding the right tasks for the volunteers during the spring and early summer.

Placebo, Angus & Julia Stone and Ghost to play at Ilosaarirock Festival
Ilosaarirock Festival 2015 welcomes alternative rock legends Placebo (UK),
bizarre horror rock band Ghost (SWE) and indie/folk pop duo Angus & Julia
Stone (AUS). For a complete list of newly confirmed artists and Saturday's
and Sunday's schedules, see the Line-up page. More artists will be added to
the line-up during the spring.
One-day Saturday and Sunday tickets for Ilosaarirock Festival 2015 are
