British singer Charlotte Emma Aitchison, a.k.a. Charli XCX is a hot name in the already smouldering market of female pop singers. While she is in her early twenties, she has already penned, composed and performed dozens of hit singles, both as a solo artist and in collaborations. Hit charts and indie discos all over the world have blasted her songs, including tracks such as Boom Clap, Break the Rules, SuperLove, I Love It (which kicked Icona Pop into fame) and Doing It, co-performed with Rita Ora. It seems that Charli has an endless well of catchy pop hooks and tunes.

While Charli XCX's songs are extremely catchy, her music has lots of mischievousness, raunchy sexiness, and a healthy dose of the middle finger. She could be compared to M.I.A., punky young Madonna or Siouxie Sioux, but why bother. Charli XCX's music is modern and doesn't look back to the bygone years. Her performances and songs are full of rebellious bad-girl attitude. The world is here and now, the goal is to have fun, and boring old farts can suck it up.
