Elastinen may very well be the biggest Finnish artist this summer. This guy has unparallel energy, and it's no wonder he has become a household name. Big grin and a sporty figure have kept Elastinen going since his 18th birthday, and nowadays he is known as a pioneer of Finnish rap scene, alongside with his bandmate Iso-H from their rap duo Fintelligens.

Today Elastinen, or Kimmo Laiho, is better known for his solo career than Fintelligens. His fifth solo album will be released in 2015 and it's sure to cement his status as a Finnish superstar. The first single from the upcoming album, Eteen ja ylös (Front and up), sums up Elastinen's way of life: you don't give up, everything is possible and dreams can become true.

Elastinen's new single sounds fresh and organic, with slapping bass and blaring horns. He is touring this summer with a live band, which makes the setlist even more energetic and catchy. Besides being a solo artist, Elastinen has produced music for other artists and is currently the C.E.O. of the record company Rähinä Records. He has also been seen on Finnish television quite frequently.

This guy is definitely not lacking energy as his gigs prove. Elastinen's attitude and groove on the stage will perk up any weary festival-goer.
