Mokoma

Mokoma is one of those bands that kicked off the Finnish metal mania in the beginning of the 2000s. Although the repertoire of the band has expanded considerably as the years have gone by, their aggressive and fast paced thrash sound is still impeccably executed and instantly recognizable. Their latest record, Elävien kirjoihin, is a perfect showcase: from thrash gallops to midtempo grooves, death growls to emotional clean vocals, muddy riffs to melodic solos, the tenth album of the band proves that Mokoma still sounds as fresh as ever.

This applies to their gigs, too. There will be fist-pumping, chanting and mosh pits. On the next day, there will be sore necks. Be prepared.
