The queen of the Finnish pop scene has returned mightier than ever. In 2008 the radio waves welcomed a new singer-songwriter called Chisu with her debut single Mun koti ei oo täällä. Her first album Alkovi was released in the same year and it stayed on the Finnish Chart for fifteen weeks, selling gold. Chisu's second album Vapaa ja yksin set the bar higher, selling double platinum. After all, Chisu is without a doubt one of the most talented artists of her generation in Finland.
Chisu's much anticipated fourth studio album called Polaris was released last autumn. On Polaris Chisu merges dark and melancholic tunes flawlessly into helium-light pop music, and 80s' synth soundscapes into choir arrangements. Come and witness the arrival of this vessel of emotions to the Linnunlahti bay.
