Death Hawks (FIN)
Death Hawks, the herald of Finnish psychedelic rock is in tandem both traditionalist and forward-looking band with a wide range of influences. Their ancestors from the 1960s and 1970s include Black Sabbath, The Doors and Hawkwind as well as Neil Young and Tangerine Dream. The bayou blues, desert boogie and space jazz of Death Hawks will take over anyone willing to give it a chance. From a deafening roar to a small whisper, they also offer a considerable array of rock dynamics. The gig at Ilosaarirock will be a time warp, both backwards and forwards.
