The Mutants (FIN)
The Mutants, a real melting pot of world music, call their style afro-garage-mambo. The band melds together latin vibes with straight up garage rock: images of American police series, Tarantino movies and sweaty streets of Havana spring to mind. With hefty fuzz guitar, agile organ licks and a rock'n'roll rhythm section, soon to be 20 years old band is a perfect example of what you can achieve by not taking yourself too seriously.
Appropriately, The Mutants have been touring around the world, in countries such as Argentina and Brazil, to promote their latest album La Fiesta Infernal. In July, we'll enjoy their instrumental madness in Ilosaarirock. Vamos!
