Back in 2014 many people were baffled by the song called Mehu ("juice"). Now that song has over a million views on YouTube and the rapper behind the song, Topi Tuovinen, is known very well throughout the Finnish music scene.

When PME Records, run by the guys from JVG, found Tippa-T, he instantaneously became a household name in Finland. And so the new star of Finnish rap was born. When the Nuari Kukko EP was released in August 2014, it went straight to number one on iTunes and lingered on Spotify's top lists for months on end.

Tippa-T has been labelled as a trap rapper, but his material is a lot more varied. His first album White was released in the summer of 2015. It includes the hit singles Retardix and Ylöspäin.

The fact that Rumba and Yle X both gave Tippa-T the second place in their Tulevaisuuden tusina ("the twelve artists of the future") list in 2015 says a lot about the guy and his talent. This summer we will be able to witness his machine gun-like rapping in Laulurinne – and all this with an amazing mullet-like hair!
