Viikate (FIN)

Viikate is a Finnish rock band, but at the same time it is so much more. The band combines elements from metal, rock, schlager, and folk music to gloomy lyrics, all the while having a little twinkle in the eye.

During their career, which has lasted twenty years and counting, Viikate has published twelve studio albums, including a Motörhead cover album, and sold gold several times. This July they are coming to Ilosaarirock Festival once again to woo us with their music that makes you waltz all the way to the gallows.
