Unfortunately Snakehips' gig at Ilosaarirock Festival has been cancelled due to scheduling issues. They are replaced by British alternative rock band Nothing But Thieves.

Ilosaarirock Festival artist schedule is now out and can be found here. Gates will open on Friday 14th July at 4pm. There is a total of five stages at the festival: Main Stage, Main Tent, Rento Stage, Metelli Tent and Soundi Stage. In addition there is Ilosaari Lounge which offers events ranging from improv theatre to stand-up comedy.

The line-up for this summer's Ilosaarirock Festival is now complete. New names include Estonian folk rock group Ewert and the Two Dragons, Battle Beast, Satellite Stories, Alex Mattson, Happoradio, J. Karjalainen, Popeda, Reino Nordin, Kube, Mäkki and Tuuttimörkö.

Twelve most interesting new artists from Finland: Negatiiviset Nuoret, Perikato, Younghearted, Vapaa Maa, Vesta, Ghost World, Kauriinmetsästäjät, Litku Klemetti & Tuntematon Numero, Cityman, VITOS, The Holy and Elias Gould. If you want to know what's hot in Finnish music scene at 2017, just come and listen!

Finnish heavy rock phenomenon Timo Rautiainen & Trio Niskalaukaus returns on stage for selected festival shows! Over the eight years that the band existed they released four albums that sold gold or platinum, got several Emma Awards and played sold out shows all over Finland. Timo Rautiainen & Trio Niskalaukaus performs at Ilosaarirock Festival on Saturday July 15th.

We are proud to present the next big things from UK! Rag'n'Bone Man combines soul, blues and hip hop and is known by his international mega hit Human. Electric music duo Snakehips plays downtempo pop with r'n'b influences. Their singles All My Friends, Don't Leave and Cruel have amassed hundreds of millions streams at Spotify and YouTube. Both artists are claimed to be the next British superstars. Welcome to Ilosaarirock!

Finnish musical mammoth Ultra Bra returns on stage for three festival gigs next summer. The last one takes place at Ilosaarirock Festival on Sunday July 16th. You can't miss this! Check the updated Sunday line-up here.

Great news! The first announcements for Ilosaarirock Festival 2017 include the debut Finnish appearances of alternative rock legend Pixies (USA) and garagerock duo Royal Blood (UK), the comeback of action rock group The Hellacopters (SWE), Grammy winner Imagine Dragons (USA), electro swing pioneer Parov Stelar (AUT), Danish MØ and Mew, high speed punk rock bands Millencolin (SWE) and Zeke (USA) and the progressive metal of Leprous (NOR).

The most anticipated Finnish act is the death metal group Insomnium who will perform their magnum opus Winter's Gate with Joensuu City Orchestra. This concert cannot be heard anywhere else than in Ilosaarirock Festival. Other Finnish acts include Disco Ensemble, Huoratron, Sonata Arctica, Poets of the Fall, Oranssi Pazuzu, Helsinki-Cotonou Ensemble and tens if more. Check the whole line-up from here.
