Chisu is one of the most popular artists in Finland and recently returned from a long hiatus with the release of a three-track single titled MOMENTUM 1. Unlike the organic pop her fans have gotten used to, Chisu’s new material is veering on the disturbed and is laced with electronica and industrial soundscapes. It is evident that, with the unveiling of these new tunes, Chisu wants to say goodbye to the past and unleash a whole new version of herself, Chisu 2.0.
By teaming up with hugely talented electro-wizards Jori Sjöroos and Alpo Nummelin, Chisu has clearly struck gold. Music critics rushed out to praise the resurgence of Chisu and some have already dubbed her single Hittei as the best song to come out in 2019. When this visionary trio enters the stage at Ilosaarirock this July, only the sky is the limit. Our collective breath is bated in anticipation of what lies ahead.
