The Finnish-French folk-pop duo Eva + Manu was formed by Eva Louhivuori and Emmanuel ‘Manu’ Laudic after they met each other at the Berklee College of Music in Boston. Their first single Feet In the Water was released in 2012, and became an instant favourite of both music fans and aficionados alike. Since then Eva and Manu have delivered two fantastic albums and numerous unforgettable songs.
After Boston, Eva and Manu lived in a camper van, drove around Europe and turned their stories into uplifting melodies that were topped off with high quality production. The folky acoustic guitars, clever effects and beautifully interwoven singing of these gifted musicians create a spellbinding atmosphere that is beyond compare. Tracks like All I Can See, Cinnamon Hearts and There Is Nobody Like You filled the airwaves. These songs are perfect examples of how Eva & Manu’s versatility allows them to shift the mood from mellow and laid back to full-on hip shaking fun.
In January 2019, Eva + Manu released a new six-track EP record called In the Woods. The EP was literally recorded in a cottage in the woods and contains acoustic material with a raw, almost unpolished vibe – perfect for those languid days of summer. Eva + Manu absolutely love performing in front of a live audience and cannot wait to step on stage and share their passion for good tunes and great storytelling with festival crowds. It’s time to bask in the heat and fill your soul with some sweet sounds.
