Henrik! is the resurgence of the SoundCloud rap artist previously known as Versace Henrik. He now plays as a full band belting out wacky hardcore punk. More than just music, Henrik! is an erratic performance that doesn’t give a damn about rules or regulations. The album release gig in Helsinki ended up being quite a scandal and involved nudity, broken furniture and suspicious sexual conduct on stage.
The music of Henrik! is best described as shrieking distortion, chaos and DIY attitude. The man behind the works, Henrik himself, is a downright mystery. Is this supposed to be humour? Or perhaps art? Does anybody care? Hell no. But there is one thing we do know for a fact: Henrik! is whirlwinding their way to Joensuu, and in summer 2019 everything’s possible!
