Even though IBE is only 20 years old, he is way ahead of the game: he has already released three albums since 2017, climbed to the top of the charts and collaborated with some of the biggest names in Finnish rap. In February 2019 he was runner-up for Newcomer of the Year at Finland’s most prestigious music awards, Emma Gaala. It seems that IBE has his foot firmly on the gas pedal and there’s no stopping him.
IBE’s striking sound has been compared to that of the Canadian rap phenomenon Drake, which is something that both artists would likely approve of. When IBE enters the stage, you’re bound to see more than just a rap gig: we bet a dollar to a doughnut that this experience will be talked about for years to come.
