Joni Ekman & Koira is one of those Finnish rock bands that come with a ‘Quality Guaranteed’ stamp – they never fail to deliver. The band draws their sound from the boogie rock of the 70s and 80s in a way that is, quite literally, music to one’s ears. Their latest album Uskon musiikkiin is no slouch either, and their relentless music makes even the granny next door believe in the everlasting power of the good ol’ backbeat.
