In their own words, the Tampere-based guitar rock band Radio Supernova play a unique brand of shoegaze music called mansegaze. At the core of Radio Supernova’s mansegaze are effect pedal contraptions resembling spacecraft, guitars saturated with delay effects and sublime vocal melodies that float above a wall of sound.
The band released their debut album Tähtiin earlier this year and instantly struck a chord with devotees of distortion-laden, ethereal music. For anyone who would like to travel to outer space this summer, this is your chance right here!
