Paula Vesala’s solo career is a story of incredible success. After her former band PMMP took the decision to split up, Vesala went on to release a solo album in 2016 that sold like hotcakes and was loved by both critics and radio audiences alike. Vesala is currently working on her second album and, once it is released in 2019, it is predicted to catapult her right back to the top of the Finnish music scene.
Vesala is a highly talented artist with a rare gift of being able to combine entertaining pop rock with intelligent and thought-provoking lyrics. Her tunes, which are laced with electronic elements, are catchy and fun but could never be described as trivial – there is always meaning to be found in these well-crafted songs. In Vesala’s world only the sky is the limit.
