It’s no wonder Moon Shot is referred to as the new supergroup of rock. The band is made up of former members of near legendary Finnish rock and alternative bands Disco Ensemble, Lapko and Children of Bodom. Moon Shot made waves by just teasing their upcoming new project on social media and blew away the entire Finnish music scene when they released their hotly anticipated first single Big Bang in 2020.
Inspired by their own favorite bands from when they were growing up, Moon Shot is a delightful mix of 90s and early aughts guitar and vocal driven rock. If the band’s influences, the members’ combined gig kilometrage and their recently released debut album Confession are anything to go by, we’d bet our hats we’re witnessing something great begin right here and right now.
