Kakka-hätä 77

Two years ago, Kakka-hätä 77 ('Toilet-Urge 77' if you want to be, ahem, anal about it) vowed that they will muck about for that summer and then that's it. Well, that wasn't to be the case, but who cares – hardly anyone can be upset by the fact that these torch-bearers of Finnish-speaking alcohol-fuelled punk rock drank their words. Keeping alive the somewhat beer-smelling spirit of the unwholesome but slap-happy punk rock of the late seventies, Kakka-hätä 77 is commanded by Teemu Bergman, also known from such bands as Maho Neitsyt, Nazi Death Camp and The Heartburns. Singing about young right-wing politicians and other nuisances of everyday life, the band raised hell and amusement at their previous visit to Ilosaarirock Festival, but stopped playing after twenty minutes or so because they had ran out of songs. What happens this time? We'll just have to pogo and see!
