Trying to fit Indica in the category for polished, produced and neatly-packed girl bands must be considered a serious error of judgement. These girls, for your information, write all their material themselves. Indica started to play together in 2001 and in late 2004 was the time to release their debut album Ikuinen virta which certainly proves that they have got a knack for writing catchy pop songs. The album has already sold gold, but it is not only pop fans who appreciate Indica's talent: the band was selected Best Newcomer 2004 in a reader poll by Finnish rock magazine Rumba.
