Q-Continuum is a band that could very well be called The Holy Out of Hands. Originally they were just a project band for the members of the top Finnish nu-soul group Quintessence. Once one of their jamming sessions went slightly wild, and as a result the band ended up with a clear idea as to what kind of music they would like to perform. Then they were supposed to release just a modest three-song vinyl EP, but the final outcome was the double album Organ Kane's Quintessential Grooves that came out last year. Q-Continuum's material is essentially funk with lots of spices from jazz and soul, but the proof of this pudding is definitely in their live performances. We've got every reason to expect that this club for talented young musicians will take Ilosaarirock by storm with their show.
