Three-year-old Roots Cultivation plays, as some may have already guessed, roots reggae with the spirit of 70's Jamaica. The band consists of Finnish musicians but the vocalist is Brazilian Lula Ribeiro, whose former band Papola is rather famous in Brazil. The music is rootsy and groovy, and the lyrics promote peace and love, values dear to every Ilosaarirock guest.
