This Southern Finland-based band released their first album Boys of Cat in 2001, which was followed first by two EPs, and finally in autumn 2004 the second album Tragician's Hat. This album was their ticket to a wider public awareness: it found its way to several best-records-of-2004 lists of Finnish music magazines, and the critics were thrilled.
If you think rock music means growling guitars played by men standing legs wide apart like The Ramones, Sister Flo makes you think again. The beautiful, gentle tones of Tragician's Hat hold their intensity from beginning to end, yet there is no doubt that this music works like magic before a festival audience, too.
