Skanes is a ska band from Joensuu. Their career has started only last year, but they have already made a wild impact on local friends of rhythm music with their fantastic gigs, where audiences have been heard to mysteriously suffer from sudden inability to stop dancing. Skanes' set list is entirely made up of cover material, both traditional ska standards as new songs arranged into ska form by the band themselves.
