Keyboardist Tuomo Prättälä is already familiar from several top-notch Finnish bands, such as Quintessence, Ilmiliekki Quartet, Emma Salokoski Ensemble and Huba. This year, however, Tuomo has stepped forward as a solo artist. His debut album, released earlier this year, has been a sensational success, gaining rave reviews in practically every single Finnish magazine and newspaper. My Thing contains organic funk and soothing soul quite in the spirit of Stevie Wonder and Curtis Mayfield: just the perfect kind of music, that is, for the cheerful and carefree atmosphere of the End of the Festival club.
