When you listen to Vavamuffin's debut album Vabang!, released two years ago, you don't really need any special knack for prophecy to be able to see the crystal ball showing a sunny beach filled with people smiling and dancing to the beat of Vavamuffin's first Ilosaarirock performance.

Vavamuffin was founded in Warsaw, Poland, in 2003. Their music is a combination of ingredients both from traditional reggae and dancehall and from modern rhythm music. The band has got not one, not two, but an astonishing total of three energetic lead singers, backed by a brilliant band who have besides Vavamuffin played with numerous other Polish bands.
