Deathbed
Generations change, new torchbearers arrive in the punk scene, but it's sweet to see that old geezers and newcomers can combine their creative powers. Deathbed contains members not only from two long-lived punk legends Manifesto Jukebox and Endstand, but also from Lighthouse Project, one of the top bands of the newer generation.
So far Deathbed has released one album on its own and a split EP with the band Kolt. The band has been busy touring Finland and Europe all spring and travelled as far as Australia with another Finnish band I Walk The Line. This intense work surely pays off, and at the Töminä Club one can expect to see a tour-de-force by a band in great shape. Deathbed's message does not pale in comparison with the roughness of their music. In their own words, "music is our weapon and if our lyrics are ignored, then we should be too".
