Maria Mena (NOR)
Maria Mena is a small Norwegian pop miracle. The 23-year-old lady has already put out four full-length albums and, consequently, melted loads of hearts both here in the far North and on the mainlands of Europe. With her tenderly-felt melodic pop she has been awarded gold discs in countries like Germany and the Netherlands, and not without reason: Maria's euphonies are simply irresistible, particularly when you're already a bit softened by the sweetness of the Finnish summer. This year's Sulo Club is a fantastic opportunity to find out that pop verging on the perfectness is released in all corners of Fennoscandia, as the representatives of Finland and Sweden are joined by a charming guest all the way from the land of fjords and oil riches.
