Puppa J & Punky Reggae Band
Puppa J is one of the established brand names of Finnish reggae. The tireless man is renowned for his own band Tasottavat as well as for the Asa & Jätkäjätkät ensemble (also performing at the Ilosaarirock Festival), but this summer Puppa J's flood of words will be accompanied by the sounds of the eminent Punky Reggae Band. Even though we know that Puppa J would deliver the goods even playing solo and accompanied by nothing more than just an acoustic guitar, the presence of the band means that there's no need to keep a lid on the rhythm section.
And as a certain Jamaican reggae legends suggests in his song Punky Reggae Party: "It takes a joyful sound / to make the world go round / come with your heart and soul / come and rock your bone". This guideline surely applies to the beach party that is the performance of Puppa J & Punky Reggae Band. It's not rocket science, you know.
